Set up the game by popping out all of the letters from their boards, empty out the provided bag of the game pieces, and put all of the letter tiles into the bag.
Hand out white boards and markers to everyone and let them choose their game piece, placing it on the start space.
To determine who is the judge first, every body draws a letter from the bag. Whoever gets closest to the letter A in the alphabet is judge first.
With your group, determine if you will allow vulgar words or how strict you want to be about spelling, whatever is the most fun for the group!
Return the drawn letters to the bag, and start the game!
How to Play
The first judge draws the three letters from the bag, placing them one by one on the plate for everyone to see.
Once everyone knows the letters, the judge flips the timer and waits.
Players have one minute to write a phrase on their white board, but the catch is they can only use words that start with the letters on the plate, and they have to be in that order.
Feel free to add articles (a, an, the) prepositions ( in, on, with, of) or conjunctions (and, but, or) to the phrase to get your thoughts across better.
When time is up, everyone stops writing. If you haven't finished your phrase in time, you forfeit the round.
Players reveal their boards and the judge goes around the room, reading each aloud.
The judge determines the winner for the round, criteria is up to the judge and they can take input from the players as much or as little as they want.
The winning player adds the score of the three letter cards up and moves their game piece forward that many spaces.
Dump the letters off the plate and set them aside, don't add them back to the bag.
The role of judge moves to the next person in clockwise order and a new round begins.
The game ends when someone has reached the the finish with their game piece.
